NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS

The City of Newberry, Florida (the City) hereby provides notice, pursuant to section 197.3632(3)(a), Florida Statutes, of its intent to use the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem special assessments to be levied within the incorporated area of the City, for the cost of providing roadway improvements and services commencing for the Fiscal Year beginning on October 1, 2021 and continuing until discontinued by the City. The City will consider the adoption of a resolution electing to use the uniform method of collecting such assessments authorized by section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, at a public hearing to be held at 7:00 p.m. on December 14, 2020 at the Commission Chambers, City Hall, 25440 West Newberry Road, Newberry, Florida. Such resolution will state the need for the levy and will contain a legal description of the boundaries of the real property subject to the levy. NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING

NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS

The City of Newberry, Florida (the City) hereby provides notice, pursuant to section 197.3632(3)(a), Florida Statutes, of its intent to use the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem special assessments to be levied within the incorporated area of the City, for the cost of providing roadway improvements and services commencing for the Fiscal Year beginning on October 1, 2021 and continuing until discontinued by the City. The City will consider the adoption of a resolution electing to use the uniform method of collecting such assessments authorized by section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, at a public hearing to be held at 7:00 p.m. on December 14, 2020 at the Commission Chambers, City Hall, 25440 West Newberry Road, Newberry, Florida. Such resolution will state the need for the levy and will contain a legal description of the boundaries of the real property subject to the levy. TO THE CITY OF ARCHER LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE

BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD OF THE CITY OF ARCHER, FLORIDA, SERVING ALSO AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF ARCHER, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to the City of Archer Land Development Code, as amended, hereinafter referred to as the Land Development Code, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the amendment, as described below, will be heard by the Planning and Zoning Board of City of Archer, Florida, serving also as the Local Planning Agency of the City of Archer, Florida, at a public hearing to be held in-person in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 16870 Southwest 134th Avenue, Archer, Florida and through the use of communications media technology on December 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. LDC 20-04 was previously noticed for a public hearing on October 7, 2020.

LDC 20-04, is an application by the City Commission to amend the text of the Land Development Code by amending Section 15.03 entitled Residential Districts to revise limitations concerning the number of livestock and poultry within the Residential-1 (R-1) and Residential-2 (R-2) zoning districts and specifying that roosters and bucks are prohibited; and by amending Section 16.06 entitled Table of Permitted Uses to add a clarification to the agricultural operations excluding livestock in the Residential-1 (R-1) zoning district by adding or poultry (such as urban gardens), to add agricultural operations as a permitted use in the Residential-2 (R-2) and Residential-3 (R-3) zoning districts, to add agricultural operations including livestock or poultry (swine not permitted) as a permitted use within the Agricultural (A) zoning district and the Residential-1 (R-1) zoning district, to add agricultural operations including livestock or poultry with swine as a permitted use within the Agricultural zoning district, and to add agricultural operations including livestock with swine as a use permitted with a conditional use permit within the Residential -1 (R-1) zoning district.

The public is encouraged to participate in the public hearing, and should visit the City of Archer website www.cityofarcher.com on the day of the public hearing for information concerning the in-person public hearing and/or the virtual public hearing.

The public hearing may be continued to one or more future dates.
